Used AI Servo and still the same?

No point using AI Servo. They are just damn fast. Cycling at an average speed of approximately 50kmph. During the sprint lap, I think they went up to about 60+ kmph.

 This is fast.

In order to get good panning shots:

1.) Look for the part where the subject moves slowest.

2.) If your subject is moving too fast, you need to move along it at a slow but steady pace.

We didn't expect too. We shoot elite category, not those 20-50km category. Elite just sprint sprint sprint all the way

yar got shoot but not the actual crash cos too fast liao...erm dunno if got number lah haha.

one thing i learnt abt panning today - it's easier to get good shots if u open both eyes to shoot like for me my right eye is framing subject left eye is "calculating" speed @ which subject moves and hand/body adjust accordingly - seriously improves panning shots. anyone else experienced this?

ninja boy, talk is easy..

but when u try it, it's alot more difficult, they will like moving..................

but well, practice make prefect...do it a few times, we slowly get the hang of it.

I'm no expert in panning but it would appears to me that the first point seems to be somewhat unachievable on moving target of constant high speed though. ;)

Well, the first point meant, stand a corner or places where cyclists need to slow down. You can get shots there. They are just some of my tips. Not perfect!:)
