ooh.. i went there mid-dec.. stayed in sunway hotel georgetown.. next to the food street.. yummy!

me last apr also went Penang n stayed at the same hotel....

Penang sure got alot of gd makan and CHEAP!

Not really cheap for local actually. But with the singapore currency rate, of course cheap for you guys :bsmilie:
Cause there is plenty of cheap food around Penang. Cheapest is like RM2 per plate of Char Kuey Teow, RM0.60 per cup of Soya, etc

yalor.. i miss the yong tau foo with yummy cubes of pigs blood! and the penang assam laksa at the kek seng kopitiam!!! aaahhhh.. why is penang so far away (a painful 11hr 5star tours bus ride).. hahaha..

me dat time makan dim sum wif frenz..ordered abt 11 items and cost ard RM30! :thumbsup:

thats weird cause its about 50 minutes from SG to Sarawak. Seeing that Sarawak is more upnorth in Malaysia, Penang should have a shorter distance travelled?

anyways anyone tried astrophotography? is it possible with the 450D?

Sarawak is not part of Peninsula Malaysia nor upnorth of Malaysia but another side which is East Malaysia, that's the reason.

hmm moonshots i can still use my S5 whee, but star trails all is the 450d capable of that long an exposure?

Shuttle most probably. You may want to put ISO to the maximum. (Not recommended)
