The EF-S 24mm STM is about the same size as the EF 40mm STM. Of course, we know that EF-S lenses fit Canon APSC cameras only whereas EF lenses fit both full-frame and APSC cameras. Also, this lens, like the 40mm, has no image stabilisation, only auto-focus. (The thread title is incorrect.) Here are some photos; due to the rainy days, I haven't been able to take outdoor shots yet. Overall, it is what I anticipated from this low-cost lens. The convenience of size, weight, cuteness and usability are my considerations for buying it. I like STM lenses for their affordability and at S$190, it is within my budget.

#1 - Taken with iPhone 6

#2 - Size comparison of the small lenses: 24STM, 40STM & 50mm. The 50mm is double the height of the other two. Taken with iPhone 6.

#3 - The focus is on the bear's nose. ISO 800, 24mm, f/2.8, 1/800. Lightly tweaked with iPhoto to brighten & sharpen a bit. Taken with 24mm STM.
--- Edited ---
I've deleted #4 posted earlier and replaced it with this one (a different bear) and to stop it down to f/4 from f/2.8 for a better comparison with #3. Also, both #3 and #4 were taken in RAW and converted to JPG with iPhoto.

#4 Replacement - The focus is on the bear's right eye. ISO 800, 24mm, f/4, 1/500. Lightly tweaked with iPhoto to brighten & sharpen a bit. Taken with 24mm STM.
