awww, man, not that Canon vs Nikon tech argument again ... ;p

So, to balance with Nikon's technological achievements - AFS/SWM (focusing mechanism in lens), ED elements, aspherical (actually everyone has this), VR, 3D Color Matrix Metering, 10-segment Matrix Metering with 30K Scene Analysis .... anyway, u can see that the tech argument will go on and on and on without any clear outright winner.

And here is where I say Nikon is pulling ahead ;p - with the announcement of the DX Nikkor lenses, only Nikon gives you a COMPLETE SYSTEM able to take pictures from super-wide-angle to super-telephoto. Of course, this statement is true for now until Canon announces something similiar in their lens lineup.

For more info on the Nikkor DX lens announcement (and its related arguments for and against) .... see the HOT thread in the Nikon sub-forum.

sigma-mount lenses are like practically impossible to find... you probably have to buy all brand-new, and also forget about the resale value...

and most probably you won't be able to find anyone to buy second-hand lenses from.

wonder if there's anyone using Sigma mounts here?

should I buy the F55 or the Murcielago? I'm worried the rims might not be wide enough to lift the car when I'm crossing a road hump... ;p ;p ;p
