it's around 20.5%

oh okay, thanks.

traded in a old photo printer, got my eos 550d kit 1 at 1151 over rrp of 1449, so it's about 20.5% discount.

i think they have ready stock for the camera at the moment, just went down yesterday, but i got the call today to collect, very efficient.

no questions asked, didn't even check working condition of item traded, only noted serial number.

quite a good deal for the discount.

only able to trade in PNS cam, dslr and photo printer? If it's a non photo printer, like a regular oldies canon printer, able to?

jus take a queue number & wait for your turn..

then.. when your turn came, jus approach the CS and tell him/her what's wrong with your cam.. can be lots of issues.. up to your imagination..

after that say u dun wan to repair, see whether they have recommendation...

actually dun really need much imagination. just say "can i use this for privillege purchase?" then tell them what camera you want and they will quote you the price. Saves time and all the wayang. They already know that we know that such a program exists.

I don't have any old canon printer or camera.
What else can I use to trade in?

Yes, I just say - I would like to participate in this PPP. Can I get a XXXD?
That's it. easy. They will take your camera/ printer and do the rest.

This programme is still on.Just bring in any old/spoilt Canon camera and tell them you wanna use it for the privilege purchase...

i mean printer.. still can?

I only heard printer for printer PPP, I am surprise that some people managed to use printer for camera. It could be an oversight from the canon employees?

hey guys:)

will somebody enlighten me:)

can i also trade my old CANON SLR (500n) to a new DSLR?(lets say 550D)

thanks!

i went to the canon service centre on mon, they say for 50D u need to trade in a film camera, must be film, i ask why they just say tats the rule.
for 550D, any digital cam will do..

film camera? no need to be SLR/Canon? i'm sure there's an old film point-and-shoot lying in my house somewhere.
