So where should I put it?.. the Sub-Forums : Before Digital, Beyond 35mm doesn't have the 35mm SLR kind of forum..and I see that the compact also uses films...

Your A1 looks cool! It's quite uncommon in Singapore. I'm thinking of getting one as well.

How is the camera treating you? Any quirks to look out for? Heh, sorry for the many questions. I'm planning to get one in the near future, so I'm asking around.

so far the camera has done well, it has the build in light metering, AV, TV, P, M mode... but the FD lens are all manual focus... but there's some light leakage in the view finder area if you going at very low shutter speed... say 1/8 to B...usually in the bright day light... but the view finder blind shutter which was located near it did the trick of shutting the view finder and block the light off.. (can switch to cover up the view finder when going at very low shutter speed...)
The spongy thing that attached near the top of the lens mounting is bio degrading when I first got it... I remove that and thus the light enter thru the view finder... but manage to improvised the part to cover the leakage..

Yep, the battery cap has a bit of chipped off.. but still able to lock in place...
