i saw a guy using 650D and he is using 40mm STM. Quite easy to use, touch screen on the 650D and focus fast also

Good choice. I would have gone for the 650D instead of 60D too. (I own the 60D... but that was before the 650D was released.) Articulate touch screen, 9 cross AF points, Digic V to permit in-camera CA/vignetting/distortion... seems more worthwhile.

Out of curiosity. Having used the NEX5 for couple of years, what prompted you to switch to Canon DSLR? Limited choice of lenses? Slow contrast AF?

First why i chose Canon DSLR instead of Nex 5, it has more choice of Lens and Nex 5 is entry level camera to learn how to use a DSLR, more over you get only DSLR Quality Images in NEX series.

Next Auto Focus is very slow and i want to move from a Novice to Intermediate in photography so for that you need a good camera so only i chose canon.

Sony Nex camera are not DSLR. And if u mention intermediate..maybe you should consider the 7D..

The touch screen not very responsive as compared to iPhone. Tested at vivo when I was testing 5DmkIII. Damn poison!!! Gana infected after I went to vivo!!!

Have the budget? Over at the 5dm3 thread the cost seems to have dropped.

I've purchased one and absolutely no regrets. Its a workhorse, gets the things done, great useable ISO, 6 FPS, and weather sealed.

I played with the 650D touchscreen in Vivocity the other day.

My opinion is that it responds slowly to AF and feels incredibly gimmicky to me. Seriously, it fails to deliver the faster AF attribute one often associates with DSLRs.

I shall stick to good-old buttons and shutters. :bsmilie:

I guess so ... call me old fashion ... but I love buttons and turning knobs ... Let's hope we don't have to speak to our camera via "Sillllly" ...to get a function going ...

Thanks for all your comments, i have done a extended review and finally i have purchased Canon 650D today, the camera is quite good and it is nice. Let post some photos sooner or later.
