canon 5dmk2 focusing screen problem!!! help!!!

I dun MF often, would it still be good to change? just wondering.

i have a not so good condition EG-S screen, if u want i can give it to you, u can try put it on and look thru the view finder, see if u like it as compared to the default focusing screen before deciding if u want to switch.

if you don't use MF much, then don't bother getting the Eg-s focusing screen... it will make your normal lenses (at f/stops 2.8 and above darker) - no point IMO
but if you play with primes alot.. then can consider still :)

IMO, the Canon ##S super precision matte focusing screen is the best I have ever used, whether it was with a fast or slow lens, outdoor or indoor under dim light as it aids you to see a better and clearer focused image on the VF. When I was using both the Canon 40D and 5D, I used both AF and mf lenses. The ultra contrast you see with this screen is such that it helps not only in dim light but also on a bright day. I could tell whether my AF lens focused accurately. When used with mf lens, even when I stopped down to f8 or f11, the screen remains clear and not frosted like those from other brands. Bless yourself with such flexibilities when you use a Canon DSLR. I am now using Pentax and I am crying for such a focusing screen. There are people who buy this screen, cut it to size to fit their Pentax cameras. I have a split focusing screen on my K5 and when I step down to f5.6, the whole screen become so frosted that it is almost impossible to focus. The stock screen that comes with the camera behaves in the same way. I have none of such experiences with Canon's type xxS super precision matte focusing.

i also got this two lens :p

friday i will be going csc. send my 5D for cleaning, and battery grip for servicing. too long never use then take out from dry cab, found that the buttons and the scroll not working anymore. ;(

maybe i just ask them to change
