Canon 5d2 now? REALLY NEED HELP FROM 5d2 USERS!!

Completely agreed with the above sentiments supporting the 5DMII. AF has not been a problem, even when shooting children running around. It produces beautiful images, and I think it's more than enough camera for my needs (I have the same interests as you, mainly travel photography, street portraiture, social events). I think we don't always need to get the latest and best, if our shooting preferences don't require it. But that's me!

Having said that, I think 5D2 is a bit challenging for the classic street photographer as the camera is super obvious... I only use it because I ask my subjects for permission (yes, not actually street photography!).

What was your last cam? I am still waiting 5d mk3. Bbb virus is attacking

5D MK2 focus speed is not fastest but I wont call it slow either.
its definitely faster than alot of point and shoot out there and definitely much faster than iphones, so if you can bear with those you can bear with 5d mk2. plus if you learn to use the centre focus cross hair sensor for all your shots, its definitely fast.
