Ya... quite similar path for lens, flash & body..... but most likely, 2012 will be 24-70mm & Flash... but my more detailed plan was getting filters and flash/ light modifier too...

Dropped plans for Lee filters for now and will survive with Tian Ya (since I shoot indoor mostly) and CPL, but could go for Rogue Grid & Gels, flashbender & diffuser...... US price is very cheap but shipping is expensive....

Which 50mm are you waiting for??? I am waiting for 50mm F1.4 replacement, and I like to have ring USM & Internal focus.... This will be 2013 purchase item.

35mm F1.4L II is scheduled to be release in 2013 too base on the leaked pathway from Canon Rumor.... not sure if that is true... but will wait and see..........But if the 35mm USM F2 version is good enough with good bokeh.... I could skip the L.....

I am waiting for 35L II also, plan to stick with my 2470L for a while. May not buy the 2470ii after all.

I'm not sure what's there to be upgraded for 35L... It's a freaking sharp lens from wide open. Perhaps the build quality.

If I am Canon, this will be the last lens I will upgrade....:) Don't know why some people want this to be upgraded other than for the built. The 135L is another one that does not requires any upgrade too.

Agreed. As for 135L... I would want IS! Perhaps a slight increase in cost is fine :p

I hope canon add dust&water resistance feature into 35L and 135L. And the is feature for 135L as the other bro mentioned above. I agree they r both great lens, but if there is room for improvement, why not?

Provided adding IS doesn't add alot of weight to 135L. It is not what I call a light lens anyway.

135 do not require IS, but need weather seal. I had the lens fog up on the inside when I shoot at 4-6am in the morning beside the beach.

Hahah we getting OT liao. But how about a good weather seal and IS for 135L II? Confirm a hot buy for all Canoners hehe.

tmr 28th liao, still no news of new 5D..

and i want IS for 135L!!! :)

i am going for 5d2 + xpro1

i think don't have to rush to get the 5d2 now. can wait for the announcement of the successor and by then, both brand new and 2nd hand unit prices will drop. how much drop will also depend on the announced price of the new model.

can someone start an MO for 5DmkIII?

How much 5Dii will drop really depends on how much Canon price the 5Dx. If it is really USD3500 (SGD4400), then I don't think the 5Dii will drop that much. $4400 vs. $2800 is quite a big difference imho. Anyhow can't wat for 5Dx to be out!

Woots! A real photo from CR!
