Some people asked me, why I allow only a small number of group.

Let me clarify, that I feel that the smaller the group, the people who attended this gathering would benefit more. I can organise one gathering of 100 people, but hey, end of the day, do we learn much ? I guess no, people will start busy chatting away, then might as well, don't start this gathering.

My aim for this gathering is for 550D users to gathering and learn as much as they can throughout the gathering. Through the splitting of the groups, I see that more people will learn, and share pointers of view.

Okay, I hope my clarification would seek your understanding. As an organiser, as a person who wants to give back and guide the newbies, I think I have the right to stop and hail to a maximum number of people.

Yikes, looks like I might be too late, but if there's another group being set up, I'll love to join too. I am a still-learning but proud Canon EOS 550D user too.

Looking forward to this gathering! However, other than our 550D camera, any other things we need to bring also? Tripod? Flash? etc.?? Also which lens should we bring? Zoom or Prime?
