This lens has the same optical formula as the f0.95, and I thought I start a thread for shots taken with it @ full aperture. Photos are uncropped:

Did you have the lens overhauled, not just CLA? A CLA may not even change the 50 year old grease or if the tech thinks the lens is clear, may not even actually clean the lens!

Oops just realised after seeing your lens pic, mine is 50mm f1.2L....bought it fr CS member who bought it in the US...

50 year old RF LTM lens can hold its own against the 50L? BTW, my 50L was not too bad. :bsmilie:

Clean, lubricate, adjust

Nice lens btw. How much does a condition 9 or so lens go for roughly?

Condition is only a part of the equation. Most old lenses have some haze that cannot be detected by the naked eye. Best to send in for overhaul. It can be quite $$$, excluding sending the lens to the technician in the first place:

Good copies in 9 condition upwards cost much more, US$500-US$750 ;p.

frenzatwork , u should use Nikon 50mm f1.2 for sharpness but I prefer the 50mm f1.2 L for the creamy bokeh.
