Do they follow the Chinese lunar or Western solar calendar? If the latter, that's like end of September... so we may be able to get it by mid-Oct. Cool... just in time for my trip to New Zealand. :bsmilie:

Im new to this forum was planning to get a new dslr, and happen to find my way here.
At first I was looking to get the 40D but since the 50D is going to be release in the next 2 months, I will wait and see how the price is going to be like.

By the way, is there really a trusty shop where we can place a pre order for 50D at around SGD1600. Sound very attractive;p

Even considering Aust prices are high, Ted is mad to ask for $1,299 for EF-S 10-22 when there are other Aust websites selling it for $1,149. Reckon should be about A$2,400 for 50D Kit2.

Maybe the price in SG is quite competitive in Asia. So Ang Moh countries tend to be more ex.

I will be going to Japan soon for a 6 month assignment. I will appreciated some kind advice from the forumers here.

I have been in Japan before. What kind of electronic stuff are worth buying in Japan?

I do not find camera or lens to be cheaper in Japan than Singapore. Or maybe i was just at the wrong place. I thought Akihabara is not cheaper than Singapore. Or had this change in Japan?

My question: Is it worthwhile to buy electronic stuff such as Camera and lens in Japan? How about laptops?
