Funny hor ..... when we consider buying a car at 80k or more than 100k, we look for what optional items to include .... but when we look at a $10k lens, we freeze! don't know why hor? :dunno:

Reason is quite simple. Its the justification for the expenditure that holds most of us back. These kinda big ticket lenses are truly impressive, but think, how many of us would be using it to make a living out of it? Unless you are a full time sports photographer, or professional wildlife photographer. Most of us aren't, and we can only use this 10k piece of glass on weekends. And even so this kind of lens is extremely specialized in its usage. You don't use a 400mm f2.8 to take portraits of your kids, or as a walk around lens (haha, ok that was truly absurd). A car on the other hand is much more practical and has more uses than a piece of glass. Can use it daily for commuting to work, leisure activities, transport family and friends etc etc.
Besides, without that set of wheels, how else are you gonna bring the huge chunk of glass around?
