Canon 400D will be launched at Comex retail price $1699 with kit lens and free gifts. Canon 350D will be reduced to $1399

Care to share wif us what are the free gifts offered? That's if u have the info. The pricing strategy looks interesting though

They're giving away free EOS bag, Lexar 1GB CF card, 3 DVD-R, Battery, Digital Kit Bag, Credit Card size tray, 512MB SD card and 36pc credit card size ink/paper pack which are pretty much useless in my opinion.
 

i read in today that its only for pre-order?
is the actual product out and with ready stock?

B&H photo is selling 400D with kits lens at US$899.99 ~~ S$1460.00

Canon is still cheaper in the States. Good for those with contact in the States.

i read from cnet site, it says available in singapore on 8th sept, the rest of asia would be after that...

do not know if they brought forward just for comex or not...
got to wait for news from people who are there now
 

Be careful on what happened with 30D last year, some paid but didn't get the product (due too poor stocking) Just a gentle reminder. Search the forum for that.

If I remember correctly :)
 

cool camera features but the physical dimension is still the same as the 350D so the handling will still be uncomfortable for most, especially those with bigger hands.

I have average size hands and didn't like the handling of 350D. Looks like there's no need to consider 400D now.
 

Think 400D will onli come to singapore after 8 sep.....
 

May I ask why are they giving out CF cards & SD cards at the same time?

400D shd be using CF cards right?

Anyone know of the 24 months interest free installment payment??
like that although it be slightly expensive if buy at Comex...but can spread the amt across 2 years, so that pocket less siong...
and can save up for lens also hehe
 

let's hope this time 400D no stocking issue. i got mine at comex from harvey norman.
