I believe that is the specs for 1Ds Mark IV, and I doubt they really implement flip screen on 1D series...

to think that a tester said this camera will push canon back into the leader position.

if it was significantly cheaper than D3s, then probably yes. but only a couple hundred isn't gonna really tilt the balance.

probably not push canon back into the leader, but at least prevent further loss of market share by people moving on to the D3s. I think this 1DIV is a good competitor to the D3s, with similar high iso performance + great HD video mode.

This is for those people who screamed why the 7D wasn't a 1.3 or full frame camera. Now they have something to upgrade to instead of despising the 7D kekeke....

The would be 1DS4 will be the D3x / (or D3xs if released) opponent for high res high ISO.

oh...this means the 5Dm3 will have the iso 100k feature too on top of HD video

not too sure if i read the spec list correctly, but 1D4 doesn't have the 7D speedlight control and HUD LCD-VF? also the horizon indicator (altho prob not so useful to many).

hmm, i was just thinking that 7D is a start of new canon DSLR design from now on, all will have such features.

becuz they dont have Video mode in DSLR... well, I have video mode on my DSLR but I dun ask why before my purchase and of cuz I also dun use. kinda waste for me

I believe "N" is used when the sensor remains the same. So for the new 1 series using a new 16.1M sensor it is named 1DmkIV.

:think: ISO up to 102,400 & 39 high precision cross-type sensors even on F4 lens :lovegrin:
