I think if you really want to attempt to do a quantitative analysis, you can list each feature and rate the cameras based on the feature. Derive a balanced scorecard from the weightage you assign to each feature. then tata! you have your answer.
Otherwise, look at the kind of pictures you want to take, the typical situation you will be in...and decide which camera is more suitable. Other personal preferences can come in...like you like things that start with N better because it also ryhmes with Nike, Nokia, Netscape etc.
After you have made your decision, don't look back. It's up to you to make it the right one.
Eventually, it still falls back on "the quality of the pictures depends on the woman behind the camera, NOT the camera in front of the woman."
