Can you get 21 exposures from your XPan?

I have read a number of reports that it is possible to get 21 exposures from XPan, but no matter how I try, I always end up with 20 exposures. Would like to hear from other XPan users whether this is possible. Many thanks in advance.

It depends on film.. If I remember correctly.. between kodak, Fuji and Iiford... I can get 21 frames with one of the brands and 20 for the rest.

Many thanks for the reply. In this case, it is probably either Fuji or Ilford as I have used many rolls of Kodak and it is always 20 exposures.

i have no issue get 21 frame for most of my film such velvia, provia, reala, sensia, superia and all the PRO (most of fuji)

sometime i do get 19/20 and mostly cause by low battery, just rewind and reload back is fine (but do caution, sometime may scratch ur film if doing too many times)
