oil rig faster in sg, you must be joking, they are usually small jack up rigs, the bigger and solid ones are still built by other country.

Singapore does not have true engineer that can make product that will make a mark in the world market. Or there is which i nv hear of?

Nope. The one we did for Petrobras, P-50, which sailed me to Brazil.

As for the semi-submersible rig, try the key word "world's first Load-Out & Mating-in-dock" ;p

I thought in the photography industry , things like Hasseblad (spelling pls), Leica and some others are considered high end??

how about optics ? I thought Nikon make some very high end precision optics (you know, for labs or science... I donno exactly)

and half the forum swears by either nikon or canon.

maybe the west is better at marketing and plagarism. gunpowder, tea and noodles originated from china. it's just that china didnt bother with intellectual property then. then again they still dont. haha..

edit: another note about plagarism, it's been said that there wasnt an original thinker for the last 500 years. all of us were all plagarists in our own ways.
