Hello..can i check if i can edit my user name? I dont seem to be able to find the option.

Nope. Only admins can change it. Not even Mods.

me also thinking of changing my user name. last resort is to re-register and dump this account.

The admins would usually be too busy to change username for members. If you want we can definitely deregister your account.

I guess I have similar issue too. Seems like certain email address isn't "compatible" with the activation email.
