camera suggestion

I am using G100 at the moment. I want to upgrade it. Budget is around 1k. Please suggest Something good around that budget. I was looking at canon eos rebel

there are plenty of mirrorless options from canon with your budget. the reality is that DSLRs are slowly being phased out by the big 2.. i have nothing against DSLRs. but that's the way it is.

There are no bad cameras anymore. All cameras provide good image quality. It's rather a matter of budget and functions/features that you need.
