camera straps

Seems like the Optech and Crumpler straps are very popular here. How do they attach to the camera?
Do both of them have clips so that the camera can be detached from the strap and stored separately?

Apart from these, I don't feel safe about those that attach to the camera via the tripod mount :sweat:

OPtech comes with quick release clips. But there are several options available. So you need to get the one you like most.

Yep, I have seen the catalog before, really massive. I wonder if local shops like OP will carry what I need.

CP carries them...anyway i just switched from optec to crumpler, looking good so far...pretty long

Managed to get the Optech Classic strap from CP yesterday. Function wise feels quite good, but looks a little too plain compared to the Crumpler.

hi guys,

may i know what is the ultimate camera strap for u?
i would like to know what works for you.
u see, i have the privilege to travel to new york and los angeles quite often and have access to stuff unavailable in singapore.
usually i get amazon to deliver it to my hotel.
i am a nooby and i am sure with your vast experience it photography, u r bound to swear by some strap.
pls, no generic answers like all straps work, just depends on what u want to use it for.
state your preference, and i'll do my research.

Why don't you call up the shops (eg. TKfoto) and ask... then go down to the shops and test it out... some people think it is long enough, other thinks otherwise.
