Any Camera Shop recommended?what i know is a shop which somewhere around holland village always offer quite low price for any brand of Camera.

the shope that you are saying is called "Parisilk".... so far from i know, they are one of those that offer the best price in town. :thumbsup:

others worth trying are ms colour, alan photo, bally photo, song brothers.....

Eh,where are those location that you recommended above?mind to list us the Location?

Read quite a bit of bad experiences on them. The last one i was once overcharge by them few years ago. Anyway I would recommend TK & MS.

Tk at shaw tower, MS Colour at Ang Mo Kio. Not too sure about John 3:16, read that their service is good, but price slightly higher.

The holland one is called Paris Silk. Go round to the windmill food court and down the slope. Prices ok. not the cheapest.

always do your homework if u are bargain hunting. check at least 3 shops from location if the purchase is quite significant.

MS Color is well-known. Bus 165 from Holland V can bring you to AMK to visit them

Personally, I would not visit the shops in Sim Lim SQ, other than OP, provided you do not mind a grey set.

TK Foto and Cathay Photo were also in town which is also quite accessible from Holland V.

John 3:16 was located @ Funan which was opposite the building of Cathay Photo.

Erm...MS colour in Ang Mo Kio...but where woh?so big leh the place...in the Mall or any specific location or shop-mark,location-mark for MS colour?

TK photo and Cathay photoo...where they located?Town which area ah??

Ofcause as a consumer...we wish to get the Lowest price and Highest service mah..right?

Which will be better to get a Camera?

google is quite useful. just search for their websites and you should be able to find the address and phone number there. good luck in your purchases!

MS Color is located beside Jubilee Shopping centre while it had another branch @ AMK Hub.

Cathay Photo- Peninsula Plaza and Marina Square

Exact location had to search for Yellow pages bah as I usually walk without "looking"

Cathay depend on luck, if they know you are beginner, don't know the price... god bless u
Alan photo also the same... never approach those ah beng... i was once overcharged... oo not once but twice... when i'm new in it...
MS heard that the head quarte located at AMK central, beside 7-11 provide a good service, the new branch at AMK HUB cannot make it... recently got a thread mention about this

Read from a thread in HWZ, Bally photos overcharged a guy buying D80 by $2xx+ together with accessories. D80 was about $1710, but additional 3rd party battery, 30L dry cabinet, oly bag, 67mm CPL, totalling $2100.

Avoid all the less reputable shops.
