Camera Neck Strap

Which is why the think tank solution makes much more sense... I have both, and TT's solution is much more graceful. When using Optech, the other way is to keep the neck strap portion handy in a pocket or something.

You're referring to the Camera Support Straps V2 right? How does it work? I haven't seen many videos explaining how/how well it works...just saw the promotional video only. Is it for carrying around only or can you shoot with your camera attached to the bag? If you can, does it work well for vertical shooting (which is a problem with my Optech sling)?

Try google carryspeed.

The metal mount is already much better than other camera strap out there

Ah now I remember.. Carry Speed that is one of the clone brand that adapted the Black Rapid strap that is selling cheaper at Artworkfoto.

I dont think rapid strap got that metal mount plate. Once screw in n u dont have to check whether its loose, u can still mount it on tripod.

They do have that as optional buy but I don't need it. Photos shooting on the tripod, my camera is totally taken off the strap and replace with a camera L-plate.

That is not an "L" plate at all. heh

Look at this links to a video for more details on what an L plate is. And why some of us use it to ensure a stable platform between camera and tripod mount and a quick means to changing from portrait to landscape with a minimum need to readjust the composure of a shot.
