Wa, konica 50mm f1.2 right?

Poisonous man! ;p

yeah! a very beautiful lens to have. Its design is fantastic.

Paiseh... :-)

Nice Hexanon.

keke. This is the only hex design I like. oh the superficial leica users....

I agree, soft, luxurious ... hard to get him these days, though.

.
hes a great guy. always always throw in extra gifts for me and Im his long time supportor :bsmilie:

Folks, I am currently using the Billingham L2 (Billingham own version of the Leica Combination bag made by them) for the following:

M8 with lens attached
M3 with lens attached
1 spare lens
3-4 rolls of films
Sekonic light meter
Torch lights
Blower

Thinking of getting the Hadley Large to put my 15" Macbook pro and maybe a 5Dm2 with lens without grip. Do you think that's the best options?

Any suggestions? I don't want something too big cos' that will defeat the whole purpose of using a Rangefinder system for size. Of course, it would be good if I can at least carry my DSLR and one M at times when I need the flexibility. I already got a Lowpro Flipside 400 but that's too bulky to walkabout if I just need 1 DSLR and 1 M bodies.

Saw the new 207 and 307. The material is very nice but can't put a laptop inside. Laptop is not a must but since I do not have a laptop bag right now for my Macbook. I can use it as a "reason" to justify getting another camera bag. Hehe...

Since we're on this topic. Please post the bags you're using and if got pics even betta!!! I know there's a similar post in another thread, but would like this thread to be specific to RF users.

Here's mine when it was spanking new. Posing with my R4s and ex-MP. I love the classic look and the greater depth on this bag.

This A & A bag can take everything you see in the picture, if necessary. My preference is to have a camera bag that does not look like one. Safer. :bsmilie:

Its a Luigi Bro. The best Leica case money can buy honestly... No doubt about it. :)

Till this day it still has the nice leather smell we all love

heh - thought so. i have 4 cases from him - my favourite is the 'rally' (colour) case on my iiif-rd. still has lovely leather smell and is very soft now. the aged feel of the rally has become even more so - perfect for the iiif-rd! i don't use a neck strap - only a wrist strap. but it's very comfortable.

Luigi neck strap is the softest leather strap I have ever used for my RF camera. So soft that it can be coil onto the hand and use as wrist strap. (Note: A&A silk cord is also very very soft, but no leather smell...lol)

I like the Rally Brown season leather from Luigi too, it is so classic. Only draw back from Luigi strap I found is that the adjustable leather link is not stitched. Due to our local weather, the glue cannot withstand the humidity and my sweat and I have re-glue it twice.

However, my A&A MP/M6 half case is much softer than my Luigi M8 half case. Very good leather feel too...

Try out Zhou case with Leicavit, stiching and built just one notch below A&A and Luigi...but very much cheaper, value for money for those who want to use it with Leicavit.

:)

Aiyoh all your bags so yummy... so tempting..

I only have my think tank speed freak..

Impromptu one lah! Ok..ok, next time make annoucement in CS. :bsmilie:

LOL- anyway, that's a lot of gear Doc. And I believe it is just a small part of what you own.

Bro, can share some shots with that lens?

I wish I could afford it really! can only afford the Hexanon 50mm F2

It is a very nice lens to have, a modern alternative to the Noctilux. I will say it is indeed a lens less ordinary than the others super-fast lenses out there. Here are some pics of the character of this extraordinary glass:
