some nice shots, though a little repetitive

but some of the landscapes are tilted.. at first sight .. mainly the reflection pictures

Yeah, I also realised some shots are a but tilted. That is my weakness....any tips to make sure horizon is level? I have used the focusing points to help, but it still turn out a bit tilted.

yes, if you have a spirit level then you can be sure, especially if spirit level is on the hot shoe of your camera, or on the ballhead part of your tripod that rotates.

besides that, there's always photoshop correction..

normally handheld shots are not going to be horizon straight.. unless you have very good habits and great perception of depth/relativeness/etc

how do you see the spirit level while you look through the view finder?

which is why.. you need a tripod :bsmilie:

you compose first, and then you do minor adjusts to ensure it is level

handheld will not be so easy i guess.

Oh...okay. I think the Nikon D3 has a function to level the frame with the horizon....

the Kbal Spean shot and the animal shoots are good. the architecture is slightly less impactful cos we are pampered by very good shots from many forumers in this popular photography location.

like the horse, but too bad the eyes is not open.

hahaha..the horse is sleeping(the grass in the mouth is there for at least 10min)...actually wait for a long while for it to open eyes...end up I gave up and took the pic while it is asleep. Yeah, Cambodia is full of photographers.... sometime I have to wait up to 30min to find the 5 secs where there are no people for me to take the shot. And some tourist actually sits on some popular location and rest there! :dunno:

Just find a time to go, not expensive I only spend $650 including gifts!

Ahhh Siem Reap once again. Unfortunately the last i went the skies were cloudy most of the time. So did you suffer from AFS - Angkor Fatigue Syndrome after the 4 days? ;)

I remember the butterflies at the waterfall of Kbal Spean!
There were so many of them hovering and resting on me i almost find them as rude as mosquitoes haha

Hahaha....:bsmilie: My AFS is bad....feels super tired after the trip. Suppose to go there to relax and recharge before school term starts, but end up sleeping for 2 days after the trip. Yes I love the butterflies there. But the trip to see the butterflies there almost killed be 2hrs on Tuk Tuk is taking huge risk!
