in any case, i know there are a number of lady leica fans in singapore.
bumped into 2 at ron's camera on a single day.
perhaps just not active in this particular forum.

After selling Voigtlander for more than 3 months.... I only have 1 lady buyer who got a VC meter II from me.... Sometime, I wonder... what did Leica, CV & other RF manufacturers do that did not attract ladies enough?

Maybe a LV special edition of Leica????

Speaking of ladies, I saw my better half watching a show "Closer", where Julia Roberts plays a photographer and uses Leica and Hasselblad ... Soon, Bangles will have the same

Her "photo exhibit" in the show was what caught my attention, b&w close-up portraits of strangers (HUGE square format with sloppy borders). Interesting photography idea ...

im in no way in the league of these illustrious lady photographers.
what i do know is that women photographers provide a different dimension to photography. at times, a refreshing perspective that makes us look again and 'CLOSER'. excuse the pun... cant help it.

have been lurking for a long while.
recently sent my dad's old konica c35 for cleaning, but have realised that it's probably a toy camera rather than a rangefinder. but am intending to start taking photos with this once i collect it!

I think that the konica c35 is quite a capable camera... Not a toy, put it in the right hands tat is.. and for one, compared to lomos, definately not a toy...

Female photo-enthusiast here. The closest thing to a Leica I have is a Lumix LX1. Can't afford a Leica or know enough to use one...yet. Right now I'm slowly going back to film and am just starting to learn a bit about medium format photography.

Right now I'm using mainly a Nikon SLR, and toy cams like the LC-A and Lubitel medium format camera.

I'm too much of a loner to have any kind of network to share. But I do enjoy talking about photography. So if you want to meet up, feel free to get in touch.
