It was a very nice gathering & informative/demonstrating of Profoto products. Thanks to Dennis & Shriro staffs in accommodating a bunch of us.

Here are some of pics...hope the rest don't mind.

Studio setup, we went thru & shoot most of the different types of equipments and it was an eye openers for me :bigeyes:

Special speaker by Mr William (brown T-shirt sitting down) and the main message was learn how the lights affect the subject and stick to learning the basic first before investing in more adventurous setups. :thumbsup:

I ordered the Manfrotto 1052BAC. The stacker series.
It just arrived this morning.

Oh, this model ah, small and light. CP don't have this model for sale?

And there you go, arrived this morning, monday 1st June can collect AcuteB already. :bsmilie:

Got lah, the model before hand got make up what, she's there for a previous shoot. ;)

this i didn't know. i thought earlier shoot was another model

for those who are considering profotos, go for it! i think it is one of the best light system out there next to bron. but think twice first, this is quite a heavy investment and it's really not for everyone.

Short answer is no.

Long answer is, this looks like normal strobes with power cable connected to the light itself.
The battery pack one requires a PowerPack (box like thing) which is not seen here.

The 600 is a compact . More for indoor studio work . .can bring outdoors but must have mains power point or power generator .
This kit is a Good buy . A fren bought a kit set last year and paid near $3k .
Latest model D1 500 air has built in radio will cost $ 1750 each compact .
For best portable battery source - the Acute B 600 at $ 2990 . Now with FREE Acute B Head ! Can do 160 full power shots per rechargeable battery.
Tskye's favourite and was showing how to use it at PrUG.:cool:
