These Creative Light softboxes with soft grids look good man .
Suppose to be give more control and not so expensive .
Also has wide range of mounts even for Canon , Nikon Speedlights.
Heard Shriro giving away one of these as Lucky draw .

Heard from Toni Luah Luah that there is a Profoto D1 trade in offer .
Trade-in any studio lighting and get up to $ 700 off!
IE - D1 500 normally $ 1830 now after trade in pay only $ 1130 !:thumbsup:
Got an old Elincrom 500 that keeps breaking down .
Gonna trade it away for the D1.

The Pro-B 3 and the Acute B2 did not take off from Sweden for the Launch here.
Denis Says very sorry but the Icelandic ash caused havoc again .
Hope to get them by 24th June PrUG when we can do an outdoor test shoot!
Meanwhile , a lot of guys are taking up the D1 trade-in offers !

Just want to thank Denis for letting me share with fellow Profoto users my setup for dramatic lighting for this Thursday gathering.
Here are some of my sample photos shot with the setup that i will be using on Thurs.

Catering for the gatherings is tough.
Like maybe 3 registered .
21 sms " OK " not " Please include me "
12 emails indicating " noted " . ( meaning ? )
Last HUG for instance , more or less same response , catered for 35 and 68 turned up .
No RSVP culture .
Then there was this One guy who was overheard saying after wiping his mouth , " Eat finish full full already , now can relax and wait for Lucky Draw ".
Denis says " They are our customers . They have spent or are going to spend money with us . We entertain them . We provide some Photography knowledge , some Seeing , Touching , Hearing Experience and also Tasting and stomach filling as well .
Also a Lucky draw to round up so every one is happy ."
MY Point : Please be considerate and register so some of us who come direct from work will not go hungry whilst enjoying the show.
