Heard that a limited batch of Profoto Compact 1200/1200 with campaign kit coming in January 2010 for the old price of $ 2800 before 7%gst .
Better order now before it is all taken up .
Also there are last 2 sets of compact 600/600 at $ 2000 before 7%gst .

Profoto Users will testify that a Compact 600/1200 with a white umbrella will give you a more even light spread than an E with the best softbox ever made .
The Compacts already come with diffused glass domes ( themselves worth $500 if you buy from E ) This and the the tube design gives a wider then 180 degree spread .
And the power output is measured with this handicap over others with 80 degree spread.
Go try it at the Profoto Studio and see for yourself .
