i bought 1 set D1 5oow profoto studio light, this set it's without the trigger build in. Bought 1 set of Elinchrome skyport universal to pair with the D1 light but the problem now is the elinchrome cannot trigger the light since day1. Confusing and frust hoping to get answer from the pro here.

You are facing compatibility issue. You mayl need to use back items from the same product in order to work. Try purchasing the trigger from profoto to work or use the syn cable provided.

And you have not brought it back to Shriro ?
No matter , why not bring it down on thursday and we can try it out with the Air Sync and also compare with D1 sets there .
BoonS and Lawrance of Shriro are very helpful with technical stuff.
