Hi all,

sorry for not being able to be at the gathering...

am currently in Germany for sometime.

eversince i started shooting with the 503, its been such an addiction i carry it almost everyday and try to get a frame or so....

However in Hamburg, i can't find any shops that sells things like what Ruby or even Cathay does!!!!! which is SHOCKING! (if anybody has any idea if there are shops here that sells developers and the various films, please do let me know SOONEST!)

The only consolation i have is that my developing tank just arrived from Singapore and i guess meanwhile, i've to use my Nescafe to develope some.....

Will try to look for normal scanner and post up any pictures.

(am also looking for CFI 40mm or 50mm and CFI Makroplanar 120mm... lemme know if u're letting them go hehehe)

I should be back in Singapore for a shortwhile (2 weeks or slightly more) and will try to meet up with u guys if there's such an outing again!

But hey hasselblad seen there need to seek out hasselblad user or portentous new user, so they graceful enough to organizes another meet up on Oct 7. And they also ask to me to find out what kind of event you guys would like? (Shoots, workshop, camera clinic and ect ect ..............) Any way here a letter from them

Hello Scott,

Thank you for coming to the 1st Hasselblad Enthusiasts Gathering with Ricky, Richard and the other guys.

We had fun going through the different Hasselblads and Profoto lighting equipment .

As we said , the guys could try out the equipment available including using the Digibacks on your personal Hassels.

Also the rest could use your Canons ,Nikons and Pentaxs on the table top in the studio .



The next 1st Tuesday of the month will be on 7th of October from 6-8.30 pm at the Shriro house where we have our showroom and Studio.

This will be just after the Photokina in Cologne so we could all share the latest news from the number one Photographic Fair.

All are welcomed to join in the fun ..



We also have an upcoming event to Launch the H3DII-31 at Vue Studio , behind the Queenston Club at 60 Jalan Penjara , ( this road runs just left of the Queenstown Remand Prison.)

This is on the 19th of September 2008 , on a Friday , 12am to 5 pm .

Normally $54,040 , this will be offered at $ 30,000 nett complete with camera and lens.



Also , for the V series users ( ie. 500 ,501,503 ,555) the CFV , 16 million pixel digiback , will be offered at $12,800 nett.

The latest version – CFV ll will be offered at $17,700 nett.



There will also be some Demo PROFOTO Lighting on Sale ....

Hello Guys , I went down last week to that Hasselblad Demo and Sale thing.
Whoa ! so many big shot pro photographers were there snapping up the offers !
Must have been good buys . I am a newbie so i just joined the rest of the crowd
to watch the Demos at the various stations .
I managed to try out the new offer $30k hassey on a pretty model at the Show-off fast
burst Fashion Booth . Some multi shot back was on a 503 cw on the next booth .
Then they were freezing the turning Fan blades at 1/800 camera sync with 1/12000th flash duration ! Far out !
They were all very nice and no one hasseled me to buy anything ( maybe their hands were full ... )
In fact they invited me to come for next months first -tuesday- of -the -month Hassey enthusiasts get together and bring along my uncles 501 to try with their CF 39 on my antique watch .

Well here the details. The gathering is organized by Shriro on 7th Oct 6.30pm at 6th Floor of Shriro House at 11 Chang Charn Road . Click here for the map

What we can do is to discuss what you guys and gals want to do in future, like shoots, workshops, seminars and ect ect........... That they can help us to organized. We will also share our experience using hasselblad equipment. Like what they do in user group. You are encourage to bring your favorite hasselblad camera and tell us your experience with it. But you also have the chance to see and hold your dream hasselblad camera Oh every one is welcome from newbie to season guys.

Actually , bats are simmple things .
If the total adds up to 12volts ( for example ), just use 2 x4 battery holders (from electrical
shop) . Fill them with 8 x 1.5 AA bats , joined in series (plus to neg ) and have 2 wires (one plus and one neg) to where the old ones are . The better ones have more juice to last longer .
Any decent camera repair shop with a technician worth his grain of salt should be able to do this .....:bsmilie:
