buying Nikon lens in Singapore?

I will be traveling to Singapore next month and interested in getting the Nikon 105mm 2.8 VR micro lens. I just checked the Nikon Price List guide in this forum and it’s S$1340 which is a good price comparing with the local price here in Perth, Australia. Can anyone suggest a reputable/honest store in Singapore to buy it from (I’d appreciate any info regarding the price as well)? BTW I’ve read good feedbacks about John 3:16 (although this shop is not listed in Nikon Singapore website), Alan Photo (Funan) and Cathay (Marina Square).
Also is there anything I should be aware/cautious of when buying lens in Singapore? I’m mainly concern with making sure it’s a genuine lens with international warranty

I recommend Cathay. i bot my Nikon equipments mainly from them.

Suggest check the stock availability or reserved the lens before you come..

Alan Photo (Funan)

I wouldn't trust them. Never had any good experiences there.

Go with John 3:16 at Funan Center first; then head down to the ground floor to the mall opposite across the road, and check out Cathay at the ground floor of Peninsula Plaza. G'luck.

As long as you get the Nikon Yellow Warranty card which says "Nikon Singapore Pte Ltd" with the serial number on it you're safe IMHO.

I'd recommend TK foto technic.

Nestled in a quiet corner at Shaw tower (compared to the ever crowded John 3:16), you get good focused service.

Prices are also good.

Cathy Photo at Peninsula plaza is also a Solid shop, but tends to be slightly pricier.

what's the difference between Cathay Photo in Peninsula and Marina square? coz Marina Square is near the hotel i'm staying
