Buying new lenses/ Rental ?

I am looking to purchase a lens, are there rental services that allow me to test the lens for a few days ?

Looking to get a lens for walkabout shoots. A lens for multi-purpose use except for landscape use. Should I get the Sigms 50-150 or the Canon 70-200 ? Some friends have recommended the Canon 70-200 f4 USM IS ... A bit ex though.

IIRC, that's PERIDOTPIX, right? Yeap rented from him before too. Good service and lenses, and as raptor84 said, students/NSF get special rates.
