Buying from B&H/Adorama

since there's a member representing Adorama, do they ship internationally? Do they provide international warranty for all products?

Yes, Adorama ships to 200 countries worldwide!

Some items will come with a manufacturer's international warranty, BUT even if you have this, you would need to ship the unit back to the US for warranty repair.

My personal recommendation would be to purchase an international extended warranty at the same time so you can get local service.

[I just bought a refurb Canon for a relative overseas and I did exactly that; now, he may not need the warranty, but IF he does, he won't have to find the shipping costs, deal with shipping delays etc etc]

So if I have a problem with my equipment covered by Mack's Extended Warranty, do I have to ship it to the nearest Mack's Service Center in my local Asian city or can I simply use this extended warranty at my nearest authorized service center (non-Macks) for any particular camera brand?

You would contact Mack and they would advise you which centers local to you are authorized to carry out any repairs.
