Hi guys, need help. Anyone here buy your DSLR Camera online such as USA,UK etc.. Can they be trusted? And need your opinion.. Thanks.. Im looking D7000..

I think you will be tax 7% GST once the body reach Singapore.
why don't buy locally? or if you want to save some money, you can try to buy at JB also,
heard that it is only SGD1200++ body only after conversion, even cheaper than those used body in BnS.

Correct buy from jb better... At least got warranty from Malaysia..

You buy from Other country 100% will get tax

U mean buy online? I dont trust Malaysia web site unless there is good review.. If u go and buy I dont see why need to do WU transfer..

Go look at amazon if u planning to buy online.. At least 99% are trustable and even if any issue there is claim to be proceed

Which market? JB about 1350 after convert.. BnS about 1500.. Amazon different store different price

Don forget the shipping fees if you really need buy from oversea online.

GST 7% will charges on goods value above $400 if I'm not wrong.

Some stuff/accessories really cheap if you get them from amazon, i.e Sandisk extreme or lenses, of course, ignore warranty if you no care about it.

Below sgd400 is worth it.. Many ppl forgot that beside the GST there is another 5% admins charge of the GST amount..

The main thing that I don't trust for overseas purchases are the way 'Fragile' marked parcels are handled during the shipment!

buy from trusted site like adorama and amazon.com. However, usually they won't ship electronics stuff like dslr oversea and you have to use a third party shipping to send it back. Do include cost of shipping from seller to forwarder, forwarder to you and GST and you can see whether it is worthwhile buying oversea. Other issues like claiming warranty will be quite a hassle and costly as Nikon dslr bodies are local warranty only.

To save yourself from headaches and heartache, it might be better to get your D7000 locally.

Anything to do with western union transfer is a sign that it is 99% a scam. because western union do not need to proper identification to collect a wire.

The only online store I will buy from in Malaysia is Shashinki. I prefer to go to the stores though.

I just tried adorama.com using the D7000 body. Price with shipment (US$62) is US$1411 or about S$1824. Throw in 7% GST (anything above $400 and the postal agent - Singpost, UPS, DHL, all same - won't deliver it unless you first pay GST) it comes to S$1954. Easily an get that price in Singapore (or JB) lah.
