Busselton Jetty (Western Australia)

Went to Busselton Jetty today but just missed the sunset.
Tried taking a few night shots but got to go up the tour bus, so only managed to get a couple of shots. Think might plan for a road up down again I hope.

Nice shot... I went last month but missed the visit to the underworld observatory aquarium as it was under renovation. Need to rush back to Perth on time so did not manage to stay and take the night shots... thanks for sharing.

I didn't realise that the underworld observatory aquarium is under renovation. Hope that it is ready by now. I reached around evening time so never explore much. Got a lot of ideas but no time to execute, the "magic timing" is so short and the bus schedule is so tight.

Was planning to rent a car and drive down in the day, visit the Jetty and the underworld observatory aquarium and stay for sunset and night shoot.

It was taken at around 6:13pm to 6:18pm.
Bus reached the jetty at 5:30pm, break for only 45 minutes which include dinner. The sun fully set after 6:00pm. the lights was not on until 6:10pm, so was rushing.

Will be travelling to WA next month so did quite a bit of homework. Did you visit the Yallingup Shearing Shed? Its a pity that there is no live show in the month August when I am there

Nope, went to Magaret River for Wine tasting instead.

ok sure, but i haven't been there yet, will only be there after National Day, but I am sure alot of people will be willing to share
I will going to Margaret River also, hopefully have time to go to Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse and visit one of the caves

nothing near the jetty to eat except fast food.....

Was at Equinox for dinner, not that fabulous also. the thing is to wait for the "magic timing" where the sun just set, the sky still dark bluish with the lights turn on. But not enough time. :cry:
