Hi may i know what is the aperture setting that you usually use for your shots? did you push the sharpness of your photos during pp? Great perspectives. i like. =)

to dorje87 :

Thank you so much for your appreciation. For daytime outdoor shooting (landscape, building and street photography) usually i use aperture f/8-f/11 (hand hold) also f/16-f/22 (with tripod). For the nighttime outdoor shooting i use f/2.8- f/4.5 (hand hold) and f/8-f/11 (with tripod). all aperture number (F number) also depend on the brightness of main light + ambient light of surrounding, the slowest (movement effect, shooting at low light area) vs the fastest (freezing effect, also if shooting againts a very bright light source such sun, giant stadium spot light to avoid the broken gradation of the light source at the photo) shutter speed that i can get and what kind of result i want to achive (like how the sharpness of the object, how sharp/blur the background, need to get or to cut the ambient light, want to make the photo become abit over exposure +1, normal 0 or under -1, etc) it is also just like try and error.....so depend on what i like and which aperture can give me the better result.
I am sure you also have your unique and your favorite aperture number for your shots ;p
At PP (post processing / editing) with Adobe Photosop CS 2, usually i use tool : brightness & contrass, curve (with masking editing), color ballance, etc. i seldom use sharpness tools, i prever use curve tool which i feel it can give me more natural result looks (both the color, brigtness / shadow, and the contrass).

I have being following your thread. This photo is one fine eg. about a very ordinary street shot, you can make it unique and man as subject outstanding. The night shoot certainly speaks louder than day if it is the same scene.

Well done.

For the setting of each photo (aperture F, focal length, speed, ISO, mode, exposure, metering mode, actual time (am/pm) of shooting, constrast, sharpness, saturation, white ballance, format, etc) you can find it by doing this step :
click the link below of each photo (which will lead you to my flickr), => action =>view exif info (which contain all the setting that i used when took the photo). Hopefully you can find the setting of the photo that you want to know ;p
