I think i had a wrong typing ( i do my appologize for that), the filter supposed to be ND GRADIENT 4 (some other call it as ND Half Color 4, and some call it as ND GRAD 4) where half of it is dark then gradiently change to transparant, so only half of the filter is contain ND / dark side, the rest side is transparant. The dark side is the part to block the light so at the result you will get the sky become darker but the rest area (earth / building) still bright. Hopefully i am not so late to correct what i had mistake in typing.

very nice photos... is your ND grad4 filter hard edge or soft edge? what i mean for hard edge is a sudden transition, and soft edge is a more gradual transition

Thanks a lot for your C&C. Honestly before you mentioned about which ND Grad 4 Filter that i used, is that hard edge or soft edge, i never knew about it so detail. I learn something from you for this thing. ND Grad 4 that I used for some of those photos is Cokin 121M (as what is noticed at Cokin Filter Catalog). I am not so sure that filter is categorized as hard edge of soft edge, but from what I see, the transition is more gradual.

Thanks a lot friend, so sorry i just had less time for few weeks and couldn’t reply anything in this tread (because I had some work to do with product shooting & pre wedding shooting). When I have more time, sure I will continue the description about detil of the photos that you want to know. Thanks alot for your C&C. this photo i shot without using ND filter or any colored filter, just UV Filter (as protector for the front part of the lens).
i set my camera :
white ballance day light (-1)
Creative Style : Neutral (as for my self) to get the clearer color for the evening sky
Brightness (-1)
Saturation (-1
Contrast(-1)
Sharpness (-1)

Exposure: 0.01 sec (1/100)
Aperture: f/2.8
Focal Length: 70 mm
ISO Speed: 200
Exposure Bias: 0 EV
Flash: Off, Did not fire

and also using Photosop CS2 to do some color toning, to enhance the dark blue
Image > Adjustment > Match Color > swith on the Neutralize and drag the fade fiture at level 85
