Hi, I have seen this thread for a long time.. and I begin to understand.. thanks..:)

To MGohzxc :
Hi Manita, thank you so much for dropping by. I notice that you like to shoot landscape and you have a great potential (probably you are one of the youngest landscape shooters in this forum). Keep on shooting + exploring the creativity, i am sure you can be a great landscape photographer in the future ;p

just went through all your photos and i have got to say, nice collection you got here.
i've got a question if you dont mind, i realize that a number of your landscape photos tend to have a darker portion which then continues on to a brighter portion. ( eg, #343,424,428 )
how is this done ? through photoshop ?

to GavinHo :
Thank you so much for dropping by. I am glad that you like the photos.
for the photos that you mentioned, i used ND (Neutral Density) Gradual 4 (some people call it as ND Gradient or ND half color) to block / reduce some brightnes of the sky (top portion of the photo) so the object and ground (buttom portion of the photo) will become brighter as i put the dark portion (which will reduce some of the brightness of the light) of the filter at the top and the transparant portion (which will not reduce so much brighness of the light) at the buttom. I use this filter especially for "outdoor shooting during day time" (morning untill late afternoon) if i feel the sky is to bright compare to the objects on the ground.
here is the link of the filter that i use so it will be easier to get know what it looks like and how it works :

I also used Photoshop CS2 to do the enhancement, exposure correcting and toning of the photos to make the photos become more unique and more interesting.
