Thank you for your C&C, the photo i took using ND Filter Gradient (half color or graduated) 4 to block the overbright of the sky (upper part) while at the same time allowing the strong day light which reflected from the tree to enter the camera without to much reducing intensity. The sun ray it self was quite significant (for human eyes) which happend because some cloud blocked / reflected the sun light. i just make sure that the exposure was not so under and i rised the DRO (dynamic range optimizer) to level +1 plus Zone + 1 to make the surrounding not to dark (not totally black) because the strong back light of the sun (shooting againts the sun). The shutter speed also i used was quite high (fast shutter) to freeze the sun ray and also make it more crispy without illuminate the other area, so the path of the sun ray could appear more.
here is the meta data / exif data of it :

very beautiful pictures! esp #301 - new angle on the helix bridge. may i know where you took that shot from?

Very well controlled exposure and colour from your photograph! Great.

To gohjialong :
You are welcome. I am sure you can make the photos with your unique and interesting way, keep on shooting ;p

To twoic :
Thank you for your appreciation, it really encourages me. I took the photos from pedestrian of CTE flyover (Benjamin Sheares Bridge). You can walk to the pedestrian from the opposite of millennia walk, just cross the road, and you will find the power (electricity) substation with many horizontal fins, the entrance to the pedestrian just at the rear side of that substation (Rochor Road Exit 15). Here is the map link( I took the link from street directory, hopefully can help you to find the exact location / spot to shot double helix bridge with this kind of angle. I used tele zoom lens 70-200 mm f/2.8 for this photos to make it bigger at frame (not too small compare to the photo frame), not to small because the spot of shooting and the object is abit far). Hopefully you can find the place and have a happy shooting time too ;p

If you want to go there (sunset walk at Changi Beach, near the Changi Village), you can use several buses, but I just remember 2 of them :

Bus no 2 (New Bridge Road – Changi Village)
=> you can also wait the bus at bus shelter near to bedok MRT, ( at the bus terminal side / market side with a lot of food stalls, not at the opposite side). You can just go out from bedok mrt tunnel and with escalator / stair ut to this bus shelter, very near to Bedok MRT itself, just 2 minute walking distance. They will drop you at Changi Village, which is the final destination

Bus no 59 (Bishan – Changi Village)
=> you can take the bus at Bishan Bus terminal and just sitting and enjoy the journey until the bus stop at Changi Village, which is the final destination

After reach Changi Village, you can walk to the jetty terminal building (with many boats there), try to find the plaza there and there are some maps / directories that guide you to the spot / location, if I am not wrong the name is sun set walk. It is linear path way / pedestrian, many interesting angles / views you can find there. This pathway will be good as a location to capture the sunset views at the afternoon, (if the weather is okay) where you can see the sunset is very nice with wide view without so many obstacles / blocking objects. The actual spot of the photo, I took it from the pedestrian walk near the Aloha Changi Resort. Below here is the link of Singapore Steet Directory website, to show the location (near Aloha Changi Resort, which is facing to the Jetty of Changi Sailing Club)
Hopefully you can reach the location and have a happy shooting time ;p
