On the whole, this is a refreshing series. For shots on buildings, I would say that they are not what the purists call “standard”, but composition wise, most of them still work for me.

The standard architecture shots will make me say "nicely shot, good tones etc", but I'll only look at them for a brief moment and not a second time. Personally, yours is definitely more appealing and worth a longer look. In short, do keep going with your refreshing perspective.

This is one of my favourites. If only more details (at the end of the tunnel) can be captured. Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. I am definitely one of those who love your works. Please keep them coming ...:)

To thotshouse :
Thanks alot for your apreciation and support, it means alot to me and really encourage me ;p

Very very nice series!!
For the first few buildings, did you use an ND filter? For example #3, did you use a blue graduated filter?

Very nice series really, if these pics were to go into tourism brochures, sure a lot of tourist will complain Singapore isn't as nice as it is in the pictures. :bsmilie:

To soons :
Thanks a lot for your C&C plus the appreciation, it becomes a real support or me to learn and shoot in a better way. Yes, some of the photos that i took in 2009 at day time (except the photos that taken with lens 500 mm) i shot using ND Grade 4, including photo #3. and also Post Production (PP) using Adobe Photosop CS 2, with masking editing to do the toning of the photos.
