Oh I was looking for a tripod with a budget of 200-300. The two short listed for a cf was the Buffalo one and a sirui.
The Buffalo from sgcamerastor boast more function like a monopod setup n good height compared to the sirui, But I decided on the sirui which cost me $50 more as I think the 6yrs local warranty, low angle and lighter weight was something that suit my needs more. In addition tk ran out of the smaller ball head n I got the bigger ballhead for the same price..

But if budget is more concern. U mentioned u like something taller, the Buffalo is a good deal. The low angle is not really useful, the monopod is on the other hand more versatile. It's just the warranty that sticks out otherwise.

i see. may i know which model u went for for the sirui that you bought?

don't think carbon fibre spoil so easily ba?

cause i am about 1.8m. sometimes prefer it to be at around my eye level.

thought buffalo also can do low angle?

I got the t 1204x + g20x
It is definitely shorter than the Buffalo so it's folds shorter too.
The low angle I don't remb the Buffalo has it But I might have forgot. Carbon fibre don't means it's more durable.. just the shock absorption is better than aluminum.. pretty sure a gitzo AL smack my sirui cf, the cf will probably split or something.. Any other material will gonna cost me a kidney and a part of my liver...

Yar.. i would suggested u visit the shop n touch them n feel the difference yourself. The sirui is slightly lighter But based on the advised setup can handle up to 10kg.. more than enough; )
I think the Buffalo can handle up to 8kg

U need to rem to add the height of ur camera's viewfinder to base. Haha. with camera maybe add 10 cm to viewfinder.. So 170cm...u around 180 (ur eyes maybe 8 cm below ur height). Just about right :)

U estimate urself
