Broke yet another screen protector.

Not far from route actually, then use telephoto to zoom in on subject. Just that see the size of the tree and realistically compare with body size and weight. Not being able to climb the tree is one thing, the branch breaking or even the tree falling while you are on it is not very funny.

Something is wrong here...

No problem. Just go to the workshops and lessons subforum, and sign up for the "Going Pro" workshop. They have a few trees in their studios as well as many LCD protectors for you to break.

ok! can you please org 1?

If i am not wrong, there are a number of music photographers who got their start from such opportunities.

Gee, I wonder what happens to concert photographers when the location is indoors. No trees to climb, no way to stand out. Run on top of people? You'd be famous in a jiffy. :bsmilie:

I think we will have same expression when we use our own imagination.... :)

Well...what is the chances someone would go for help compare to hanging around snapping pics while the photographer is in such a predicament? Better yet, how many would make a grab for the camera and siam. Thankfully i have not had such an experience.

Any ladder gang?

Think it's time the whole gang sit down and brainstorm on how to carry portable tree around for fashion/catwalk shoots liao.

We need to get some foreign talent in to come show us how it is done..

Well, depends on the venue. They usually are at the very front and depending on how they are kit out, they wont even realize if someone pinches their gear. Not really body pain but a whole lot of emotional pain. Not to mention need to squeeze with other photographers, security and etc in that small area. Accidents have been known to happen.

Thats a very good philosophy actually when look at it that way. when you study or work, have you never thought what if you had "climbed" harder or higher, would you have been better off or everything is to swee to risk on something that has no guarantees.

go break more screen protector??

i think the pre-requisite is to Climb Trees to break the screen protector. it doesn't count if you use a hammer on purpose.

so you also need to know how to climb a tree to be a professional

Not just anyhow break hor. Must be break but don't know break, until Monday then find out break.

I have the feeling this thread takes place in two parallel universes.

me too. in one universe there's many ways to define a professional photographer

in the other, you need to know how to climb trees to be a professional photographer. you also need to sit in a tree for ages to scare people and while doing that, break your LCD Screen Protector
