i've always loved ur moments, but not really appreciating the tilt... lol..

anywayz, good stuff again! :)

yeh...too much tilting...but still nicely captured..;p

Hi guys! thanks for taking your time to look at the pics and comment on them.

Yeah...i just realised the pics i posted are mostly tilted! haha... guess i prefer the tilt! Coincidentally, one of the brides younger sister is studying photography in RMIT. Her first comments when she looked at my pics is that I like to tilt. Heh.

Basically, I tilt for the following reasons. I need more in the frame and going diagonal helps. Secondly, it sometimes allow an otherwise standard and static potrait to be a little more dynamic. A little more "fun". At least that was what I was trying to achieve with the tilt. On other times, my left hand is just weaker than my right and hence the tilt.

Hmmm... now if only I can tilt this reply.

Hi...thanks... I do use fisheye lens quite a bit. =) It is unusual but fun to use...everyone shd try it! Ha. Melbourne ard this time is very cold. It was about 4-5 degrees at night. Lighting wise, you cant really go wrong with anytime of the year in Australia... the light there is softer and much easier to work with. Cheers

hey excellent series, i don't know how you do it, but you even have one of the couple going up a tram! and the flinders station (with the crowd) one is really really nice! I like it... so I agree you've captured quite the essence of Melbourne

It's not "tilt" it's crooked horizon! horhorhor... joking joking, I find it nice and different.
I looked over these again, always enjoy your images :D

Ha...its really not me... if the couple is game for it (like climbing up the tram), I will shoot it. Ha... but i really see myself more as a director sometimes. Its really abt directing shots and getting that one frame that works as opposed to posing couples. Cheers

gorgeous as usual i must say! :D
