converter after the Close-Up filter (cam->filter->b300)??

well, close-up filters have this distortion around the edges as they are not really very high quality as compared to close-up lenses or macro lenses. A close-up lens like the Canon 250D costs around $200+ if i'm not wrong.

yup just now understand and while looking at the filter noticed that its not real flat compared to other filters.. this should coz the distortions on the sides..
