How about using the same pics & convert to B&W to see the effect?

like the tones - but pictures here seem a little flat, probably due to what seems like underexposure to me. perhaps bumping it half a stop or trying "auto levels" in photoshop (the only time when this is advised) might be better.

oh, and more contrast is my preference, but that's up to you, for sure! :)

Hi night86mare, thanks for your tips. Will try to do that next time. Its hard to do ir these days cos its been raining almost everyday :(.

I think so. My modded camera was calibrated with 50mm lens, and I'm using 24-105 for this shots, but I thought it was negligble. It was my first time using the camera after modification, maybe have to do manual focusing the next time :think:.
 

your photos are not in focus and not sharp, may be you should try wide angle lens set at apperture F8 onwards
