Forget to add,
if you wish to see exactly what on the image being printed, ask for FIT IN, it will show 100% of the image on the print.

The default setting is FILL IN, so some part of the image will be crop, like 96%~98%.
 

Thanks a lot catchlight and pai for all your patient answers... I did think of the zoom thing as well but was not sure if that was even a reasonable approximation of what u would get at 4R... will try the fit in thing... realised that the KM Express shop at my place also does borders for 30cents a piece for 4R and I have been satisfied with their services for a while now... will ask them about fit in if I can finish post-processing and looking through by tomorrow... going away again and expecting another few hundreds shots... aarrggghhhh.... the bane of digital photography...:confused:

Put a piece 4R print on you monitor to find out what percentage to view the image file.
