ok FINALLY got my scanner, finally scanned in my pictures (the prints look a bit diff from the scanned images..!?). pictures were taken from bondi to bronte beach in sydney before winter set in, n last 3 are from melbourne.

haha thanks! but the place u got it from, the pple like cant be bothered to serve me when i asked them qns, n they were quoting me totally ripoff prices for the 8400f. tts the scanner i got, seems to do what 8600f does leh.. managed to get a good deal at another place in funan.. ;]

haha thanks! the film was processed ages ago, but yeh, the 7 rolls i told you about were ready overnight. cheapcheap, but they dun do e6. sorry!

was quoted diff price for 8600 : $350, 320

i bought it one day b4 GST rise at $299

tt'd been the cheapest i got offered for 8600f, but when i got there, out of stock. but i managed to get the 8400f at funan for 269. guy gave me 30bucks discount. seems almost the same to 8600f, so i hapily took it. :]

8600f the cheapest quoted is abt 299 or 300, but all out of stock n they couldnt give me a date when it'd come in, so yeh lor.. right now i only know funan have.. eh but the guy who sold me the scanner i have now said dun be cheated by pple say gst hike, cos the price is actually not affected or sth.. :dunno:

8400 and 8600 difference is the bit...one is 16bit the other is 48bit
cybermind at simlim square have a few on that day i went to find...cheapest i got qouted was 290 but no stock so no choice i bought it at 299
