Bon Appétit

:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thanks :)

Bro can share the address of the zi bao ji hehehe

It is located in Taman Sentosa, the row of shop houses (with many pharmacies) right opposite the Store. iirc it's Jalan Sutera Satu, 2nd unit from the left end (let me check the unit number). The corner unit is also selling zhi bao ji (I believed they are the original shop who started selling this dish first) but to us, it lacks in both taste and service.

Other dishes we usually ordered: Nan Lu Zha Rou (deep fried pork), oats prawn, Thai style deep fried fish, ginger/spring onion wild boar meat, calamari rings, sweet potato leaf, sambal petai.

Happy feasting! :D

Note: It's at no. 3 & 5 Jalan Sutera Satu

Phat/Pad Thai...

This is one of Thailand's 'national dish' and my family favorite too, Phat Thai or Pad Thai. Similar to local char kway teow, it's stir-fried rice noodles but Thai version has a lot more ingredients (eggs, shrimp, chicken, red chilli pepper, bean sprouts, tofu, fish sauce, tamarind juice and garnished with crushed peanuts, lime, spring onion/chives and coriander).

Had this dish, Fried Fish in Pineapple Sauce Rice set in of the hongkong style restaurant in Bugis. The fish was tender and the sweet & sour pineapple sauce brought out the taste well, what I love most was the deep fried vege.

I can only say it tastes ok and acceptable to us :) I mean it is not comparable to the authentic taste in Thailand but this is not too sweet and acidid which we like, at the same time maintaining the fragrant and spiciness. The restaurant is called Diandin Leluk & is located along Geylang main road, round the corner near Lor 7. I believe they have many outlets and some conveniently located in major shopping centers but this particular outlet is manned and cooked by native Thais.

Personally, the best Pad Thai I had was in Chip Bee Garden (off Holland Road, along Jln Merah Saga), iirc the name ws Mai Thai. I am not sure whether they are still there though.
